A drop of rain  slid down a leaf
and formed a glorious sphere.
Waiting for the storm to pass
and a glint of sun appear.

The light refracted in the rays,
splitting to glorious hues.
A small reminder in life's blast
to soak up nature's views.

The briefest glance and it was gone,
lost to eternity.
but light had seeped inside my soul
and set my troubles free.
